Happy August everyone!

We hope you’ve been having a great summer and finding some time to enjoy everything the season brings. Whether you’re squeezing in the last of your summer plans or starting to think about the school year ahead, we’ve got your back when it comes to finding a little time to reset.

There’s plenty happening at Stasis this month:

🎶 Stasis Sound returns on Friday, August 14th and Thursday, August 27th

🔬 We’re participating in Project Arcturus, an international research initiative through the Float Research Collective. If you’re a regular floater, we’d greatly appreciate your help with the study. More details are below.

🌊 If you haven’t tried our Float Foundations Starter Bundle yet, we’re also giving it a little reminder this month. It’s one of the best ways to experience what a regular float practice can feel like.

And if you picked up one of our Christmas in July floats, we hope to see you in soon. Remember, those sessions are valid for 90 days from purchase, so there’s plenty of time to find the right moment for your summer reset.

We’ll look forward to having you in soon for your next relaxing session!

Project Arcturus: Stasis Is Taking Part

We’re excited to share that Stasis Float Center is participating in Project Arcturus, a global research initiative through the nonprofit Float Research Collective and the largest float study conducted to date.

More than 100 float centers are participating as researchers work to better understand how regular floating may support mental, emotional, and physical health and well being.

The study is specifically looking for adults with experience floating regularly. Because participant recruitment needs to follow the research guidelines, we cannot share the survey publicly online.

If you’re a regular floater and would like to participate, keep an eye out for the Project Arcturus materials here at Stasis during your next visit. You can scan the provided QR code at the center to learn about eligibility, participation, and the study itself.

We’re incredibly happy to play a small part in helping move float research forward, and we greatly appreciate any of our regular floaters who choose to contribute.

Build Your Float Foundation

If you’ve been curious about making floating more than a one time experience, our Float Foundations Starter Bundle is designed to help you discover what a regular float practice can feel like.

Get 3 floats for $158, essentially three sessions for the regular cost of two. Complete all three within 3 weeks of your first float, and we’ll add a 4th float free. If life gets busy, your original three floats will still be there for you.

With how much noise and distraction fills our days, having a regular place to disconnect, reset, and recharge can be pretty valuable.

If you haven’t redeemed your Starter Bundle yet, there’s never a bad time to build your float foundation.
