Breathing Easier Heading Into Spring

As we wrap up February and start inching toward spring, one thing we saw a lot of this winter was guests looking for relief from the usual cold, congestion, and allergy cycle. After being cooped up for months, it seems like sinuses everywhere decide it is time to act up all at once.

One thing that really stood out this season was how many people made their way into the Salt Room for Halo Therapy. We had a great turnout of guests, both kids and adults, who were simply looking to breathe a little easier, and it has been great seeing so many leave feeling clearer and more comfortable.

Halo Therapy is actually a pretty simple idea. Pharmaceutical-grade sodium chloride (table salt) is milled into very fine micro-particles and dispersed into the air of the Salt Room. As you sit and relax, you naturally breathe those particles into your respiratory system where they can help pull congestion and support relief from allergies, asthma, and other respiratory irritations.

In a way, it is a bit like a dry Neti pot… just without leaning over the sink and the discomfort!

As we head into spring and all the pollen that comes with it, the Salt Room can be a helpful reset for your lungs and sinuses. If winter left you feeling a little clogged up, we hope to have you in soon to sit back, breathe deep, and let the salt do the work.

Warmly,
Glenn Runyan, Owner
